I have almost 30 years’ experience as a lawyer including a shorter period as general counsel at a Dutch based Venture Capital company. My practice was initially focused on copyright and litigation, where I represented some of the world's most renowned artists in copyright infringement cases. I also appeared in numerous cases before Swedish courts and in national and international arbitration for a wide variety of clients. For the last 15 years I have specialized in domestic and international transactional work, primarily transactions in which IP is a vital component. It is very rewarding to use my IP background in assisting clients in developing their businesses. I represent owners, companies and private equity firms.

Work highlights in the life sciences sector include representing Trimb Holding AB, Antula Healtcare AB and Meda OTC AB in several acquisitions, but also assisting with licensing and co-operation agreements regarding OTC products; Meda AB (publ) in connection with its acquisition of Rottapharm S.p.A and the subsequent rights issue of SEK 2 billion as well as its issue in kind, executed in the time of the acquisition, and Healthcare Brands Ltd’s sale of Antula Holding to Meda.

In the retail sector, I have, for example, represented Triton Partners in the sale of OBH Nordica to Groupe SEB, and acted in Scope Capital’s acquisition of Happy Plugs. In the energy sector, I represented Voimapiha AB in its acquisition of minority shares of Kraftgården AB from Dong Energy Wind Power Holding A/S and acted for Arvika Stadshus AB in the acquisition of 26 hydropower plants from the energy company Fortum.

IT related transactions include the sale of Infobric AB and BC Partners’ acquisition of ComHem (as co-counsel).

Recent transactions regarding IP rights include acting for Stockholm Live in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and the acquisition of the Friends Arena business.

Work highlights within the industrial sector include acting for Xylem Group in the acquisition of PIMS Group Limited and MultiTrode Pty Ltd, assisting in Xylem Group’s re-structuring; representing ITT Corporation in connection with the spin-off of its water activities/business to independent listed companies.
